Director is responsible for supervising, caring, and handling disciplinary issues with children. Examples of duties include welcoming children each day, providing and serving meals, singing songs, performing crafts and activities, assisting in proper hygiene, cleaning and ensuring children behave well when in contact with other children.

Position also includes efficient management and hiring of staff, interacting with parents/guardians, and administrative duties.

Applicant MUST have adequate experience as a Director/Assistant Director in a state licensed childcare facility if applying for this position. At least five years of experience is ideal. References are required.

Applicant also must be flexible in regards to my hours/shifts. This is a highly active position. You must be able to lift at least 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

This position requires applicant to be reliable and capable. They must stay informed on State of Texas licensing minimum standards and make sure the child care center is meeting these standards at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,500.00 – $3,000.00 per month
