A distribution center in Clifton NJ looking for an experienced inventory associate. Responsible for inventory accuracy, Inventory associate who is able to work in a fast-paced and friendly environment.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who demonstrate reliable attendance and a willingness to learn. To do this, we need everyone to work together and be flexible to move to different areas in the warehouse based upon business needs.

Job Functions & Responsibilities :

• Loading and unloading of incoming shipments
• Receive, stock, and move incoming and outgoing materials to / from the warehouse
• Stock picking; gather and prepare / package materials for pick-up and delivery
• Inventory management
• Ensure all working and common areas are kept clean and organized
• Learn and retain product knowledge and specifications
• Effectively work in cooperation with department staff and management on duties assigned
• Must be able to accurately and efficiently move material so orders are neat and damage free

Qualifications :

• Punctuality / Reliability / Flexibility.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge in WMS or ERP software
• Desire to learn and adapt to changing situations and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge in warehouse operations and equipment (forklift, inventory management, etc).
• Need to be Forklift certified
• Must be able to operate reach truck
• Knowledge of the RF (Radio Frequency) gun
• Strong basic math skills

Physical Requirements :

• Regularly lift and move an object that weighs 10-50lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull.
• Must be able to work in hot and cold working environments.
• Regularly required to use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, reach, and / or carry.
