Logistics Company Hiring for Human Resources Manager at St Louis, MO, United States Full Time

The Human Resources Manager is a key member to guide and influence the human resources and people-related decisions throughout the organization.

This position s directly to the CEO of the organization to develop, implement and improve all aspects of human resources supporting the organization’s continued growth.

General Responsibilities :

• Manages team responsible for full-cycle recruiting of staff and contracted drivers.
• Utilizes internal and external data to develop and implement effective HR strategies to meet the organization’s short-term and long-term goals.
• Drives employee engagement and relations through close partnerships with staff & leadership.
• Partners with Operations Managers to respond to driver relations issues in a timely manner.
• Tracks employee onboarding to ensure successful completion of training plans and new hire reviews.
• Oversees annual performance review and merit increase process.
• Collaborates with CEO, Controller, and benefit broker to lead the annual evaluation and selection of benefit programs.
• Maintains employee data throughout HRIS and benefit systems.
• Ensures legal compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws.
• Travel 10% to company locations
• All other duties as needed.

Specific Duties :

• Conducts weekly meetings with HR and driver recruiting teams (3 direct s)
• Maintains driver onboarding process through driver recruiting team and 3rd party vendor
• Expands and refines existing KPIs for HR department
• Collaborates with peers in The Weekly Executive Leadership Meeting to set goals, establish strategy, identify issues, and provide business updates
• Establish and implement a Management Training Program
• Migrates existing new hire training program to newly acquired LMS
• Collaborates with HRIS vendor to achieve full utilization of available modules
• Oversees annual performance review process
• Represents company in regulatory and legal employment matters
