Logan City Council Hiring for Senior Asset Management Lead at Australia Full Time

This is an exciting opportunity to set the foundations for Logan City Council’s brand-new Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO). This new role will help shape the direction of a billion-dollar local government.

About The Role

The Senior Asset Management Lead role is based within our EPMO setting the strategic direction to operationalise Council’s approach to strategic asset management. The position plays a critical role enhancing the organisation’s asset management capability, coordinating asset information, governance and management services, and identifying and implementing improvements in line with contemporary practices.

You will assist with future-proofing how Logan City Council’s $6.8b asset portfolio is managed through delivering contemporary strategic asset management practices for Council’s physical asset base. You will also provide technical leadership, asset planning, monitoring, ing.

As The Strategic Asset Management Lead, You Will

• Lead and manage the team and provide technical expertise
• Develop and implement frameworks, systems, processes and tools to enhance outcomes across the organisation
• Coordinate and deliver asset management services
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to skilfully manage conflicting priorities
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently, using experience and knowledge to support your decision making.

Minimum Requirements For This Role Include

• Tertiary qualification in relevant field such as business management, project management, information management, engineering, human services or similar (eg: Bachelor of Business) or significant equivalent experience.
• Current ‘C’ class drivers’ licence
