Logan City Council Hiring for Organisational Development Program Leader at Logan Central, Queensland, Australia Full Time

The Organisational Development Program Leader is located within the People & Culture Branch, ing directly to the People & Culture Manager. The Branch provides services to the organisation by working in a partnership with the Directorates to delivery high quality people solutions and timely, responsive, and consistent advice to our stakeholders.

Our Organisational Development (OD) team develops, implements, and monitors key functions for the organisation, such as business transformation, capability and development strategies, initiatives, and program activities.

This key leadership role will oversee the OD program, drawing upon previous experience, knowledge, and qualifications to provide specialist advice, guidance and strategic direction for learning and development for the organisation and the team. This includes the ability to interpret and articulate behavioural patterns, methodologies, improvement strategies, project updates and outcomes.

This Role Includes, But Is Not Limited To

• Developing and mentoring a high functioning team to support the learning and development requirements of the organisation
• Delivering re-current Organisational Development Projects on time and on budget
• Ability to source, analyse and synthesise research information from internal and external sources to inform business decision making, including program/ project design and evaluation
• Ability to prepare s, initiatives, and updates to all levels of staff up to the Senior and Executive Management
• Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
• Coaching and mentoring the team

This is a role for an inspired, dedicated and experienced OD Leader.

• Share their knowledge and experience:with a degree or higher in Behavioural Sciences, Psychology, Human Resources or Business, your instinctive approach is to enhance the development of your team and improve the experience for your key stakeholders
• Strong Communication: high level of communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills including the ability to – negotiate, advocate, influence, engage and present information clearly
• Act as a true leader:with strong experience in managing and leading multi-disciplinary teams you demonstrate a constructive leadership style that understands success is achieved by delivering outcomes through / in partnership with others
