Logan City Council Hiring for Network Control Team Leader at Beenleigh, Queensland, Australia Full Time

This full-time permanent Network Control Team Leader position s directly to the Integrated Services Hub (ISH) Lead. This team focuses on smart operating technology and data analytics to enable optimised, efficient and commercially sustainable network and asset compliance and performance.

The purpose of this role is to lead the effective monitoring and control of the City of Logan’s water and wastewater systems in real-time to ensure that operational and compliance performance targets are achieved.

Some Core Responsibilities Of The Role

• Identify and implement industry best practice control processes within the network control team to ensure effective and efficient control of the City of Logan’s water and wastewater networks
• Monitor and control the configuration and performance of water distribution networks, wastewater collection networks and treatment plants in real time through SCADA
• Work collaboratively with SMEs to identify, produce and implement the required analytical tools, processes and associated alarming/notification to contribute to improved performance
• Liaise and interact with internal and external stakeholders in relation to operational issues and the planning and coordination of day-to-day operational activities

Skills

• Prior experience working in a Control Room with minimum 2 years’ experience
• Control Room Accreditation preferred but not essential
• Good written and verbal communication skills is a must.
