Logan City Council Hiring for Front of House Team Member – Comensura at Australia Full Time

As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the first point of contact for clients and customers at our various gyms within the City of Logan, including Logan North Fitness and Aquatic Centre, Mt Warren Gym and Logan Metro Gym.

In this role you will be engaging directly with gym members, making them feel welcome to our facilities, assisting with enquiries and generating rapport to build our customer base. Our gyms operate 7 days a week, each with a professional and highly skilled team that focuses on exceptional customer service, making our gyms a fun and safe environment where staff are willing to go above and beyond in helping our members reach their fitness goals. You will ideally take pride in providing a superior level of customer service, have a positive attitude and embrace working as part of a team to exceed our client’s expectations.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Providing exceptional customer service to clients, visitors and members of our gyms
• Processing memberships and sales using POS system, including cash handling
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the gyms for all clients and patrons
• Be willing and have flexibility to assist with shifts at alternative locations such as Logan North Aquatic and Fitness Centre, Mt Warren Gym and Logan Metro Gym as required.

Qualifications

We’re looking for up to 3 casual Front of House Team Members to join our team! In this role you will take pride in your exceptional customer service and communication skills, ensuring our customers and gym members are your priority. You will be able to multi-task, be flexible with working hours and eager to learn about our gym operations. We are seeking candidates with the following experience/qualifications:

• Current RSA certificate
• Current First Aid certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Flexibility to work across a 7 day roster including weekends, early morning and night shifts
• Desirable experience includes positions held within a customer service and previous cash handling roles
• Current ‘C’ class drivers’ licence is preferred or have ability to demonstrate ability to adhere to rostered shifts on time
• Willing to undergo a functional assessment and be assessed as being able to meet the functional requirements of the position
