The Space Security Division within Lockheed Martin Space’s Mission Solutions business area is seeking an Associate IT Manager to drive the execution of multiple projects as an agile leader. This leader will directly and indirectly support the execution of IT tasks on the program.

This position will into the Engineering & Technology organization of Space. The selected leader will manage a team of ~12 IT Engineers and will also fill a technical or programmatic role on the program.

Functional management responsibilities are deemed to be roughly 25% of chargeable hours and include:

• Subordinate employee recruitment
• Training
• Performance assessments
• Work assignments
• Career development
• Salary and recognition
• Disciplinary actions, etc.

Technical or programmatic responsibilities will vary depending on the selected candidate’s demonstrated expertise and experience and are deemed to be roughly 75% of chargeable hours.

Must possess significant knowledge in one or more of the following:

• Windows
• Linux
• Cisco
• Juniper

Roles that could fulfil this aspect include Release Train Engineer (RTE), Cost Account Manager (CAM), Scrum Master, Product Owner, Subject Matter Expert (SME), or other programmatic roles.

This is a level 4 position where successful Applicants will:

• Typically possess a minimum of 9 years of professional experience having received a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/university in a related discipline, or additional experience/combined education in lieu of BS degree
