As a small but expanding company we are looking for a Finance Assistant. You will be a key part of the company’s growth and success. You will work closely with other members of the Finance and the Sales team. You will be encouraged to interact with colleagues from across the business to widen your understanding of the business in general.

Key Responsibilities

• Data entry of purchase invoices on Xero and ensuring these are appropriately authorised.
• Preparing and sending sales invoices on time. * Completing daily bank reconciliations. Reconciling credit card expenses.
• Update and maintain prepayments, accruals schedules and other financial control data on spreadsheets.
• Preparing payment runs in line with agreed creditor terms.
• Complete and maintain sales invoices and reports. * Dealing with supplier queries and ticket desk.
• Ensuring the accuracy of financial information uploaded to finance systems.
• Assistance in calculating the VAT return.
• General support and assistance to the team including administrative duties.
• Assisting with month end procedures and any other ad hoc tasks as required

The right candidate:

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or a related field, essential.

Experience of working within a finance role or finance administration role, desirable.
