Local CPA Firm Hiring for Accountant/Bookkeeper Job at Milton, FL Full Time

Growing CPA Firm looking for someone to join our team in our Milton, FL location. This is a full-time position which will be responsible for overseeing the client’s general bookkeeping tasks and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. Compensation will be based upon experience.

Primary duties:

• Payroll processing, including quarterly and year end filings
• Processing and paying sales tax
• Completing year end Forms 1099
• Reconciling accounts for multiple companies
• Processing accounts receivables and accounts payables
• Assist with other accounting/bookkeeping related tasks as needed

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge/Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience using QuickBooks (QuickBooks Online experience a must)
• Experience in A/R and A/P processing, payroll preparation, year-end tax reporting

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong financial reporting skills
• Advanced proficiency using Excel
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Results-driven problem solver
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to assist with the implementation of process improvements within the financial and accounting function
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.’
