i4 Insight is seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance professional to develop, support and deliver manual testing strategies and solutions for large-scale applications.

Located in Greenwood Village, our new Flexible Ways of Working allows for both working from home and in the office on team days!

You will be able to

• Develop, maintain, and implement System/Integration testing strategy, test plans, test processes, test scenarios, and test cases
• Perform Systems Testing, involving Functional, Integration, Regression, Smoke and also assist with UAT testing.
• Communicate with Product Owner and Developers to understand/clarify requirements.
• Identify and prepare test data for testing
• Identify, report, and manage defects in defect tracking system.
• Provide testing status reports per Project requirements and provide input to the Project Plans and Processes.

Who you are

We are looking for candidates who have

• 5+ years of experience with software quality assurance required with some experience in large scaled complex projects
• Worked with web based applications
• Demonstrated proficiency with SQL for creating/modifying queries is a must
• Demonstrated proficiency in Test Plan and Test Case writing and defect management and use of various test management tools
• Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
• Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan
• Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts
• Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results
• Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
• String interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred but not required

• Experience working in an agile environment
• Experience with test automation
• Experience with API testing
• BS/BA – Preferred field of study: Computer Science; Engineering; Math; or Statistics
