You’re a Software Developer who craves the fast pace of a start-up. We’re a unique agile team working at the boundaries of science and technology.

We’re looking for someone to help

• Develop cutting-edge digital twin technology
• Push the limits of what’s possible in a dynamic team of experts
• Break technological boundaries that change the maritime industry for good

As a a Front-End Software Developer you’ll play a key role in our Scrum teams. You’ll help develop a web-page interface sitting on top of technology that has serious commercial clout for our customers.

Software Developer’s key responsibilities:

• Work with stakeholders (product owners, developers, engineers and testers) to implement requirements into a well-designed UI with an eye on usability and maintainability
• Collaborate with other software developers to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain embedded applications within the product
• Participate in Agile development activities, attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review and sprint retrospective meetings
• Effectively understand, capture and interpret the client’s needs with the support of a principal software developer.

As a Software Developer you’ll have:

• A qualification in natural sciences, mathematics, computer science, or engineering
• Proven knowledge and experience in front-end development
• Proficiency in Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
• Experience in working with 3D visualisation an advantage
• Experience in C# development using .NET Core an advantage
• Experience of product development in an Agile environment using Scrum methodolgies
• Proactive self-starter; self-organised with a team player attitude with a desire to learn more and new skills
• Good communication, presentation and time management skills
