Full Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist serves as the primary contact between Human Resources and operational/staff units ensuring appropriate candidates are sourced, hired, and oriented to meet the organizations talent needs while providing the highest levels of customer service. The Talent Acquisition Specialist leverages a thorough knowledge and understanding of Livingston HealthCare’s mission and strategy to align HR staffing initiatives and department objectives. This position may be assigned a wide range of other human resources duties and projects as needed.
Schedule:
- 1.0FTE (40 hours)
- Mon-Fri
- Occasional Evenings and Weekends Required
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for each position and meet hiring goals and expectations.
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle for all open rolls helping management find, hire, and retain quality talent.
- Partner with the HR team to design, refine and implement innovative recruiting strategies.
- Stay active with current job boards and platforms to find talent.
- Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications and performing phone screenings.
- Coordinates and attends interviews, communicates with manager and candidates.
- Manage onboarding and new hire process.
- Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
- Ensure all screening, hiring and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
- Attend job fairs and hiring events.
- Stays up to date on employment law

QUALIFICATIONS (Required):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 – 3 years’ previous experience in human resources, recruiting experience preferred.
- Exceptional judgement and able to make decisions leveraging current policies and practices – engaging leadership as necessary.
- Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment.
- The ability to be comfortable with high volume workload, prioritize appropriately, and demonstrated willingness to “roll up your sleeves”.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Commitment to proactive HR – passion for building innovative HR solutions and process improvement.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills including exceptional communication skills.
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
- Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
