Living Recruitment Hiring for Talent Acquisition Advisor Job at Canberra Full Time

Our client is a leading Private Sector manufacturer; headquartered in Canberra with long ties to the Commonwealth. You will be part of something very special and work at the pointy end of technology.

Seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Advisor to support our clients talent attraction and retention activities to meet ongoing workforce needs.

Please note: Due to the nature of the industry our client operates in, all applicants must Australian Citizens and have a minimum Baseline Security Clearance, whilst previous Defence Industry or Government experience will be highly regraded.

• Build and establish relationships and communication with different business units and associated hiring managers to understand organisational requirements.
• Provide advice and support to managers and candidates a part of the end-to-end recruitment process, including shortlisting candidates, interviewing, on boarding and completing associated documentation and reporting.
• Promote our clients workplace values, behaviours, and culture to perspective candidates.
• Deliver recruitment and selection services aimed at optimising the available workforce at an organisational level.

Essential knowledge and requirements:

• Minimum Baseline Security Clearance.
• Demonstrated 1-3 years experience in a similar HR or Talent Acquisition role.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or willingness to undertake further study.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effective outcomes.
• Being adaptable with the ability to identify risk and opportunities whilst exercising sound judgment.
• High level of analytical and problem solving skills including efficient administration skills.
• Global and Cultural Awareness, Ethical Practice: understanding and care for candidates.
• Ability to interpret and apply legislation.
