The opportunity
Council is seeking an experienced Manager Human Resources to lead Council’s Human Resources Business Unit. Responsibilities include setting strategic objectives for the organisation’s Human Resource Management (HRM) and Work Health and Safety (WHS) functions, with a focus on achieving better practice and legislative compliance, and effectively implementing organisational change.
Reporting to the Director Corporate and Community Services this role will also be responsible for managing Council’s recruitment and learning and development functions. We are looking for a dynamic, proactive leader to drive and build HR capabilities across the organisation.

What we offer you
We offer a competitive salary package for the successful candidate, depending on qualifications and experience. The position is Grade 7 ($87791.60 – $112387.60) depending on qualifications and experience, plus 10.5% superannuation.
