As the Coordinator Talent Development, you will lead the team in the design and delivery of innovative and dynamic initiatives aligned to our strategic direction. The team delivers a broad program of work including onboarding, capability development, leadership development, coaching, mentoring, performance, talent and succession planning, early careers development and employee recognition.

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate your leadership skills and experience in talent development. The key focus of the team in the next 12 months is in launching our revitalised onboarding practice, designing and delivering our leadership development program and establishing a supportive talent management and succession practice, all while delivering our business-as-usual practices in performance, onboarding, employee recognition and capability development.

Your application should address the following four key criteria:

• Degree in human resources, learning and organisational development or equivalent experience relevant to the portfolio.
• Excellent people management and leadership skills, and experience in successfully managing the delivery of a range of people and talent development services, including the capacity to contribute to organisational and cultural change.
• High-level research, analysis and project management skills, and demonstrated experience in initiating, designing, developing, implementing and embedding innovative people-centred ‘fit-for-organisation’ talent development frameworks, programs and practices within budget and timeframes.
• Proven experience in building trusted collaborative partnerships and working with and influencing senior leaders within a diverse organisation.

Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant.
