Little Sleepies Hiring for Video Content Creator – Contract at Hollywood, CA Full Time

Little Sleepies is a high growth eCommerce business specializing in buttery soft pajamas, daywear, and nursery essentials from proprietary Lunaluxe™ bamboo fabric, custom-milled for maximum softness and coziness! We’re looking for a creative, performance-minded video content creator to join our team on a contract/freelance basis. In this role, you’ll take on the execution of video projects from concept to completion, including storyboarding, shot lists, shooting, editing, and iterating concepts across multiple platforms.

This role will to the Sr. Art Director and collaborate closely with the social & growth marketing teams.

Responsibilities

• Work with talent (babies, toddlers, & their parents!) to create videos for our social channels & paid media
• Film content to introduce new prints & product launches
• Independently produce and shoot video content for all media platforms, including casting and location scouting
• Work with talent to film trending video content focused on parenting & motherhood for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube shorts (mom humor is encouraged!)
• Join our team on set during photoshoots to capture behind-the-scenes content in real-time!
• Connect with our audience by highlighting new prints and products through videos (we’re looking for someone who is comfortable being in videos themselves!)
• Develop concepts in collaboration with social team to create on-brand, trend-focused videos that resonate with current customers & capture the attention of potential new customers
• Present and contribute original ideas and production techniques to both internal and external partners.
• Understand how to direct talent to achieve creative goals.
• Edit all videos shot & collaborate with social team to edit videos sourced from UGC & influencer content
• Source appropriate royalty free sounds, music & voice overs for content and add sound in the editing process
• Keep a pulse on the latest trends (viral and other) in social media and content marketing

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience creating video and social-first content for brands
• Experience with young children/babies is preferred (personal or professional)
• Strong knowledge of creating platform-specific content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.), including creating content for performance vs. organic
• Experience using data to optimize and iterate creative
• Strong collaboration within the creative team as well as cross-functional teams, specifically social and growth
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented and organized

Position Details

Must be located in the Los Angeles area and willing to go into our studio in Hollywood 2-3x per week starting in July 2023.
