Little Scholars Academy Hiring for Writing Instructor Job at Sugar Land, TX Full Time

Our learning center now is
accepting applications for experienced English reading and writing instructors.
Our uniquely formatted and consistently successful program is designed for
all levels of readers and writers from Grade 1 – 10. The duties of the teachers
include providing tutoring in small groups, giving feedback on students’
reading and writing assignment. Interested applicants should be available to teach from 4:30 pm to 7:30pm on some weekdays, and/or from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturdays and/or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sundays. We offer competitive wages (can be negotiated), flexible hours, paid training and a caring, relaxing atmosphere. The position will start from the beginning of the beginning of January 2022.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Provide small-group tutoring based on students’ (Grade 1-10) writing
assignment
2. Give individualized feedback to help students hone their writing skills
3. Keep track of students’ progress and comment on students’
performance regularly

Qualifications and Skills

1. Experienced teachers/tutors and/or published writers
2. A 4-year college/university degree in a relevant field like English literature

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and encourage students

4. Demonstrate creativity, coaching and teaching aptitudes.
