Litigation Management, Inc. (LMI) is seeking a full-time, remote Authorization Support Specialist. The specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the authorizations utilized in record collection. The successful candidate will have experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects, excellent analytical skills, and demonstrated ability to make independent decisions.
This is a full-time remote position with an expected schedule of 8 hours worked between 6:00 am – 7 pm ET.
The primary responsibilities of this role are:
- Reviewing executed authorizations received from plaintiffs for accuracy and importing them into case management system.
- Assigning executed authorizations to the appropriate providers and annotating them for use in record collection requests in accordance with the litigation’s guidelines.
- Recognizing deficiencies on authorizations and updating the case management system in order to the findings to the client.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in office environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in the legal field or certification as a paralegal
- Knowledge of medical terminology
