Welcome to the role of Engineer Manager! We are looking for a committed leader to join our engineering team and help drive innovation within our organization.

As Engineer Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers to ensure projects are developed and executed efficiently.

You will also be responsible for creating and implementing processes and procedures that will help your team reach their objectives.

As a member of the engineering team, you will collaborate with other departments and partners to ensure that our products and services are of the highest quality.

This position is based at our Henderson, NV office.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and track engineering initiatives to improve operational efficiency
• Oversee the design and development of new and existing products
• Identify and manage the resources required for engineering projects
• Monitor and ensure adherence to engineering standards and quality measures
• Lead cross-functional teams in the design and development of products
• Manage engineering budgets and resources to meet project timelines
• Develop, maintain, and review engineering processes and procedures
• Provide technical guidance and support to engineering staff
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure projects are meeting customer requirements
• Manage external vendors and suppliers for engineering projects
• Monitor industry trends and technologies to identify new opportunities for engineering innovation
• Other duties as required

Job Requirements

• Third level qualification within Engineering or related field is preferred
• 3+ years professional engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Experience or knowledge Lithium Battery systems is preferred
• Demonstrated experience leading successful engineering teams
• Demonstrated experience with developing, implementing and managing engineering processes and standards
• Ability to develop and motivate technical teams
• Familiarity with current engineering tools and technologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Travel is required approximately 10% – 20%
