Job Description

We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable programming in a web-based distributed environment, delivering relatively complex applications on a variety of frameworks and applications. The skills and focus necessary for this position will be rewarded with industry leading b2b technology exposure.

The right individual will take direction from application architects and business analysts who provide loose technical direction which must be translated into our existing code base. Although maintenance programming will be required, application development will be also involves new development directly contributing to our product roadmap.

Initially this position will involve exercising the MS .NET Framework to deliver cutting edge technology for our enterprise integration architecture, product roadmap, and our custom application/portal products.

Responsibilities:

• Program and implement distributed applications using .NET technologies
• SQL Database Programming
• System Configuration
• Perform and write initial unit and functional tests
• Provide feedback of application limitations to management and design teams.
• Consistently consider such issues as performance, scalability, reliability and security.
• Communicate programming effort and deliver against those estimates

Technical Skills Required

• 2-7+ years ASP.NET
• 2-7+ years C#.NET
• 2-5+ years SQL Server
• IIS administration
• XML
• XSLT
• HTML / XHTML / CSS / JAVASCRIPT
• Visual Studio.NET

Additional Qualifications:

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong demonstrable understanding of transactional systems
• Database Design Skills
• Expertise in Object Oriented Design Patterns
• Experience in developing a web-based product over multiple release lifecycles with little or no downtime.
• Experience with structured software development process and agile methodologies.
