We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Retail Agriculture Office Assistant.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our retail agriculture office in Liqui-Grow Traer IA.

Pay : $40,000 – $48,000 / year (based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Perform initial contact with retail customers / prospects to meet their needs regarding payments of bills, account balances, complaints, office visits, phone questions, or other sales and customer relations activities.
• Organization of office and maintenance of record keeping system as established by the Davenport Office Manager as well as the special record needs of the retail manager and retail general manager.
• Organization of records to assure a system that carefully monitors inventory losses and gains on a day-to-day and season basis, ing those changes to the Davenport Office Manager.
• Working with Davenport Credit Department by assisting Retail Manager with approval and collection of accounts and any special credit programs, crop liens or lines of credit.

Qualifications

• Knowledge or interest in the agriculture industry is a plus!
• Math skills for conversion of chemical and fertilizer rates
• Experience with Word and Excel
• Experience managing Customer Accounts
• Understanding of Inventory Ins, Outs, and Reconciliations
• Knolwedge of Goverment ing and recording keeping
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
• Knowledge or interest in the agriculture industry is a plus!
