Pharmacist

We are looking for an outstanding Staff Pharmacist. The Staff Pharmacist position is responsible for adherence of day to day operations of the pharmacy and provides direction to the pharmacy staff in absence of the Pharmacy General Manager. The Staff Pharmacist completes proper filling of prescriptions, adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures, and completes all clinical and compliance related tasks effectively and accurately. Must be willing to undertake tasks to provide excellent customer service and ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly. Must be detail-oriented and reliable since the job has high responsibility. Also possesses excellent customer service & communication skills as well as team building skills.

Responsibilities

Primary duties and responsibilities of the Staff Pharmacist include:

• Accurate and effective filling of prescriptions
• Ability to provide guidance to the pharmacy staff, make quick yet professional decisions, and act in compliance with all required guidelines and procedures
• Ability to multi-task: work as a pharmacist while performing other pharmacy related functions
• Works in lieu of the Pharmacy General Manager in their absence, s all necessary concerns and/or problems to the Pharmacy General Manager or upper management
• Provides coaching, training, and mentoring to existing and new staff
• Responsible for abiding by and enforcing all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance procedures
• Works in conjunction with other pharmacists and pharmacy staff to properly complete daily duties
• Willingness and proactive leadership related to all clinical programs
• Satisfactorily completes all pharmacist duties related to the practice of pharmacy
• Other duties as assigned/required
• Become knowledgeable about our programs: DME, Weight Loss, Wellness Programs
• Comply with all security measures and quality standards

Skills

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Excellent interpersonal and group interaction skills
• Basic computer skills, willing to learn new systems
• Proven experience as pharmacist
• Experience with a prescription system
• Knowledge of medication; and nutritional, homeopathics, and herbal supplements is a plus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Reliable with a keen eye for detail
• 1-2 years staff pharmacist experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $52.34 – $55.30 per hour
