Currently, we have an exciting opportunity, due to continued company growth, for a Full-Time Accounting Assistant/Payroll at our corporate office in Woodbury, MN. This position requires working Monday -Friday 8am-4pm. The corporate office is pleasant, clean, productive, well-organized with a lot of variety of tasks daily.

This position would allow you to wear many hats as a liaison throughout the office by learning and being a back up for many functions of the office including Payroll, Human Resource and various accounting departments. There are a variety of tasks to be responsible for from maintaining spreadsheets, accounts payable for real estate, reconciling benefit statements, maintaining vehicle registration/insurance, and corporate payroll and sales tax reporting.

Accounting Assistant/Payroll includes:

• Backing up Payroll and Accounting departments during vacations or as needed,
• Entering various reports in Excel spreadsheets,
• Filing, scanning, emailing and supporting multi-location manager requests and questions.
• Supporting Accounts Payable for Linn Realty and c-store division
• Vehicle tab renews and insurance notifications
• Supporting Human Resources with benefit statements and other reporting,

Qualifications:

• General accounting/business background that has the ability to assist the other accounting departments as needed
• Minimum of three years payroll experience or strong desire to learn
• Excellent PC skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• HRMS Sage software is a plus
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
• Exceptional detail-orientation
• Highly organized
• A quick learner
• Able to multi-task in a busy office environment
• Able to budget time to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks

• Excel spreadsheet proficiency is critical
