Linktree Hiring for Talent Sourcer – Product & Engineering Job at New South Wales Full Time

The role:

Due to our growth, Linktree needs a Talent Sourcer to take on the ownership of sourcing for all product and engineering roles. This role will be hybrid/remote from anywhere in Australia, with offices currently in Sydney and Melbourne and more to come as our team grows. Our talent team is currently 5 but looking like growing to 8-10 including you. Mitch would be your manager and you’d also be part of our People & Culture team that is led by Isa.

The roles you will be sourcing for will vary across product and engineering at all levels but will be adaptable to pick up new roles as they emerge.

As a Talent Sourcer, you will provide strategic sourcing advice to the wider Talent Acquisition team and internal stakeholders and proactively market map, headhunt and pipeline for existing and future roles. You will also attend hiring briefing meetings in support of the Talent Acquisition team, contribute to job adverts and post adverts on a range of relevant channels. Candidate experience and D&I is paramount here so we’d want it to be for you too and you’d have plenty of opportunities to make an impact as we grow and mature our team and processes.

All of us at Linktree work either fully remote or a hybrid “remote and in-office sometimes” approach and that will continue even when COVID is behind us.

We currently have offices in Melbourne, Sydney with LA coming next but our team is spread across Australia, Brazil, Indonesia, USA, Canada, Ireland and Nigeria.

Being globally distributed doesn’t mean you need to change your time zone, and we offer autonomy and flexibility in how you structure your days and weeks. There will be the need for some collaboration outside of a “normal” 9-5 as we are a global company, but we aim to work asynchronously where possible.

What you’ll be doing:

• Attract and maintain talent pools and pipelines

• Provide strategic sourcing advice for Talent Acquisition team

• Proactively market map, talent pool and pipeline business-critical roles

• Manage relationships with prospective candidates, recruitment partners and internal stakeholders

• Use analytical, data-driven sourcing strategies to produce effective and efficient search results

• Understand business strategies and challenges and underlying talent strategies

• Sourcing from LinkedIn and other platforms, meetups and networks

We don’t believe number of years experience is a key factor in determining skill, so we don’t use this as a minimum requirement. Ideally, you will have prior talent sourcing experience working on a mix of product and engineering roles including software data, platform and machine learning engineers. Bonus points if you’ve crossed over into product managers, designers, data analysts and scientists. We would love to hear from you if you have advanced LinkedIn Recruiter skills, and experience in Boolean search strings, talent sourcing tools and the people skills to write engaging approach messages, conduct phone screens and to pitch Linktree.

Since you will be working remotely at least some of the time, you will need to be comfortable working unsupervised, setting priorities and planning out your days.
