In this role at Linktree, you will act as the internal recruiter for our engineering teams – Software, Platform and Data – and run end to end processes.
We are looking to grow our internal Talent team. I would be your manager and you’d also be part of our People & Culture team.

Responsibilities
- Own the end to end recruitment process of roles in our – Engineering, Data, & Platform
- Take requirements for roles from Linktree stakeholders, turn them into detailed recruitment briefs
- Headhunting talent for active roles as well as proactively sourcing for potential future needs
- Closely manage the candidate experience to create a best in class journey to Linktree. Also, develop strong trust with hiring managers that allows for influence and recommendations to shape the process and deliver the best candidates to their teams.
- Design interview processes including evaluation templates for each stage
- Writing job ads
- Interviewing candidates (phone call, zoom and in person)
- Ensuring every candidate that applies to Linktree has as positive an experience as possible with regular contact, responses to applications and transparent feedback
- Making sure all processes are run with as much diversity and inclusion as possible
Requirements
- Min 2-3 years of talent acquisition experience (Human Resources background a plus!)
- Experience working on a range of different roles including marketing (social, growth, content etc), executive, design and product
- Strong understanding of how to run recruitment processes from start to finish
- Can demonstrate the ability to design interview questions to screen for both technical and soft skills/values
- Strong written communication skills for job ad writing, email and LinkedIn communication to candidates
- Experience working on a volume of different roles at once (5-10 + and not all the same category i.e. 10 engineering roles)
Where & How We Work
We are a global, diverse group across age, gender, and race and offer a truly flexible and family friendly work environment. Kids, pets, and the occasional delivery person are all actively encouraged to appear on our Zoom screens. All of us at Linktree work either fully remote or a hybrid “remote, but in-office sometimes” approach and that will continue even when COVID is behind us.
We currently have offices in Melbourne, Sydney and LA is coming next, but our team is spread across Australia, United States, and New Zealand. Growing from 20 people in early 2020, to 50 in 2021 and over 200 in 2022, Linktree is still growing rapidly!
Being globally distributed doesn’t mean working to one timezone and we offer autonomy and flexibility in how you structure your days and weeks. There will be the need for some collaboration outside of a “normal” 9-5 being a global company, but we aim to work asynchronously where possible.
