Linkforce Engineering Hiring for Accountant Job at Perth Full Time

Linkforce now have the opportunity for an Accountant to join our head office Finance Team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position is offered on a full-time permanent basis, working Monday to Friday, and plays a key role in providing the business with its transactional finance needs.

What’s on offer

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and resolve any issue
• Prepare and reconcile monthly intercompany invoices and accounts
• Review and maintain the acquisition clearing and fixed assets register
• Run the month end process as per set EOM deadlines
• Prepare and process month-end journals and associated GL maintenance.
• Lodge, complete of end of month reporting including reconciliations, BAS, PAYG-W, PAYG-I, FTR and payroll tax
• Implement process improvements to achieve operational effectiveness and efficiencies
• Organising manual adjustments and journals
• Managing the preparing and review of the monthly GL reconciliation process
• Other ad-hoc duties and reporting as required

What’s Required

• Business or Accounting, plus CA/CPA qualification
• PRONTO experience is highly desirable
• Advanced EXCEL skills
• Experience within the mining/resources or a similarly fast paced industry
• Analyst experience is advantageous
• Ability to manage multiple priorities whilst maintainine accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be a Perth based resident with full Australian Work Rights
• National Police Clearance
