We are looking for a full time and permanent HR Advisor to join a large and friendly HR team that has a lot of drive and ambition to create a great environment for all employees that work for Link. This is a HR generalist role and the right person will get involved in a wide range of HR projects as well as working closely with managers on a day to day basis to support the delivery of the people plans. Job Role

• Deliver a top class HR service to the business, guiding managers on the full range of HR policies and procedures including performance management, sickness management, employee relations matters and ensuring mangers are legally compliant and they take responsibility for actively managing employees.

• To develop, review and update HR policies, process and procedures in line with legislation and best practice and implement changes across the site,

• Assist and lead on HR projects that revolve around reward and recognition, employee engagement and wellbeing and the development of our employees.

• Drive and support the reporting and analysis of key HR metrics, identifying patterns and trends that inform decisions

• Supporting with end to end recruitment practices including placing adverts, preparing job descriptions, interview scripts and completing all relevant pre-employment checks

• Assisting with the processing, checking and updating of monthly payroll activities, which can include calculating SMP, SSP and Company Sick Pay

• Responsible for processing the relevant procedures with all starters, leavers, and contract changes.

Work Experience and Qualifications

• CIPD or part CIPD qualified/Member

• Experience in a generalist HR role, either as an advisor or equivalent generalist HR position in a busy environment

• Excellent IT skills in Word, Excel and Outlook, and a high level of written English including grammar, punctuation and spelling.

• Experience in providing advice, guidance and support to a diverse group of managers on employment matters

• Experience in writing, updating and implementing new HR policy, procedure and best practice

• Experience in delivering project work

• Proven experience of working effectively within a successful team

• Proved experience in generating ideas and new ways of working and implementing these in a timely manner

Role Package

• Permanent position

• Salary – £24,500 – £27,000 (this will be dependent on experience and for the right candidate)

• You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday – hours of work can be flexed but are typically between 8.30 – 5pm.

• We are predominantly office based as we believe that face to face interaction delivers the best results, but we also offer remote working.

• 33 Days holiday (including Bank Holidays)

• The role is based in Caerphilly where there is free onsite parking
