Linear Recruitment Ltd Looking for Project Engineer at Wakefield, West Yorkshire Full Time

An opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer within the water and wastewater sector, focussing on the civil works associated with water utilities installation and renewal. Reporting day-to-day to Project Managers, but working under the Framework Manager, you will support projects throughout definition, delivery, and close out phases across the client’s framework.

What you’ll be doing day to day:

• Design and coordination / production and or review of design outputs where necessary.

• Third party and stakeholder liaison and coordination.

• Development and / or review of project specific documents i.e., scopes, specifications, drawings, construction packs, H&S documentation.

• Pricing and programme input and development.

• Company H&S reporting requirements.

• Sub-contract coordination including preparing and issuing ITT’s, reviewing tenders, tender evaluations, tender programmes etc.

• Collating and reporting on programme performance.

• Attending site visits for purposes of site meetings, coordination meetings, site surveys, stakeholder, and third-party coordination etc.

• Attending meetings.

• Coordinating, preparing, submitting, and closing out projects including use of Client systems i.e., YorCDE, ADS etc.

The experience we’re looking for in a candidate:

• An industry applicable ONC/HNC/B.Eng or NVQ equivalent

• Demonstrable experience of working within the water and / or wastewater industries

• Commercial and contractual awareness

• Working knowledge of Microsoft packages

The salary banding is indicative and dependent on experience. Details on the full package are to be discussed during shortlisting.
