Position Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and passionate HR Business Partner to support the Operations and R&D/QA/Consumer Services teams. The ideal candidate aligns internal client support activities with the overall HR strategy and business plan. Specific activities include, but are not limited to: Full-Cycle Recruitment, Workforce Development, Talent Management, Change Management, and Employee Relations. Essential Job Functions/Key Accountabilities

Full-Cycle Recruitment

• Execute recruiting and interviewing plans for open positions; whenever possible develop a pool of candidates in advance of needs. Efficiently fill positions with high quality talent; identify “stretch” talent for key positions.
• In partnership with the HR Business Partners, oversee both in-house and external temporary workforce programs and partners to recruit top talent across all Operations, and R&D/QA/Consumer Services teams; may also assist with filling Corporate roles as needed.
• Co-manage recruitment initiatives with the Corporate Recruitment Manager to ensure Lindt maintains a strong funnel of talented students to support the company’s Apprenticeship and Lindternship Programs.
• Develop strong networking presence with select programs and schools to position Lindt as an employer of choice. Participate in presentations, info sessions and career fairs on college and university campuses; engage with career development offices and students to raise awareness of Lindt’s employer value proposition.

Employee Relations

• Model and support an open door policy and a positive work environment by ensuring company policies and practices are consistently and fairly applied. Help employees reach equitable and timely resolutions to their concerns.
• Develop proactive employee relations initiatives and tools to support and empower leaders to resolve issues.
• Provide guidance to employees and leaders to resolve employee relations issues in a timely manner, mitigating company risk.
• Ensure regulatory and legal compliance and understanding through leadership training and support.
• Review and investigate the company’s anonymous ethics helpline cases and conduct other employee investigations as necessary.

• Support Talent Management activities in partnership with the Operations HR team; initiatives include performance evaluations, individual development plans, talent calibration, succession planning and career pathing.
• Help leaders attract and retain the talent needed to achieve business and growth objectives.
• Inherently understand the Lindt business and its objectives to provide the needed talent acquisition, talent management, and development programs that enable employees’ careers to thrive.
• Assist in the execution of the Lindt Mentoring Program, Apprenticeships, Lindternships, leadership and other professional development programs that strengthen our employees’ skills and create future leaders.

Position Qualifications

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Experience with internship recruitment and/or building student-based career development programs.
• Strong working knowledge of recruitment and applicant tracking systems (ATS), MS Office applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Bilingual fluency in Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent collaborative skills with ability to build productive business relationships cross-functionally within the organization.
• Proven coaching and HR consultative skills.
• Project management experience including change and stakeholder management
• Ability to prioritize and effectively measure and drive for results in an entrepreneurial work environment.

Experience

• 5-8+ years of progressive HR experience working in a manufacturing environment; corporate experience in addition is a plus.
• 5+ years full cycle recruitment experience; Consumer Packaged Goods or Manufacturing environment preferred

• Proven high volume, recruitment experience required, either in a staffing firm, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience working on projects that develop organizational talent and infrastructure.
• Practical knowledge of HR legal and regulatory guidelines, practices and procedures.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other related field required
• MS or MBA, a plus

• May require some occasional scheduling flexibility to support a 3-shift operation
• Some local travel may be required for recruiting, school engagements, and networking
