Job Summary

The director of adult and online admissions is responsible for all
aspects of adult and online new student recruitment and enrollment
strategies. The position works in collaboration with the assistant
vice president of Enrollment Management and other key university
leaders to administer, grow and develop enrollment and admissions
initiatives across these modalities.

Job Responsibility and Execution

• Increases adult and online enrollment through a holistic and
  strategic vision to align with the university’s recruitment plan
  and Lindenwood Online
• Evaluates application files to determine admissibility in
  combination with university standards
• Oversees day-to-day operations of university admissions to
  include, new student recruitment, Learning Center operations, Wiley
  partnership, travel and counselor assignments, recruitment events
  and student financial services collaboration
• Develops recruitment and net tuition revenue goals in
  collaboration with senior leadership
• Collaborates on community and corporate recruitment initiatives
  to drive enrollment
• Builds and executes enrollment strategies by maximizing the
  customer recruitment management system (CRM), to include
  diversifying communication efforts

Leadership and Strategic Thinking

• Establishes long- and short-term strategic goals based on
  assessment data and ensures standards for the department and its
  field are met or exceeded at all Learning Center locations
• Adapts and modifies leadership based on new information and/or
  data; works to set and unite people on the new direction
• Manages personnel, financial and administrative
  responsibilities of the department
• Utilizes effective strategies to build collaboration for
  maximum execution
• Aligns department purpose and actions with relevant initiatives
  of the university and trends impacting higher education

Employee Management and Development

• Models, supports and holds others accountable to university
  values – integrity, dedication, excellence, creativity and
  teamwork
• Recruits, interviews, recommends, inducts, observes and
  monitors performance of new employees
• Sets clear performance expectations and holds employees
  accountable for actions
• Conducts thorough and timely performance evaluations based on
  evidence, observation and feedback

Required Qualifications – An equivalent combination of
education, training and experience will be considered. Additional
requirements may be designated by position.

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 3 years of professional recruitment experience
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience
• Driver’s license
