Full-time Office Administrator/accounting person wanted. Must be very familiar with QuickBooks, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Google calendar to coordinate and record appointments/reminders, and be computer savvy. Proven work experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
We are looking for someone who can navigate QuickBooks to enter and pay bills, invoice clients, and record payments and bank deposits. This person will interface with our remote CPA; with the CPA overseeing the integrity of the QB file and accounting (performing bank and credit card reconciliations and preparing adjusting journal entries.). Applicant must have excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively are mandatory.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
o Monthly Payroll ing for insurance
– Work Comp
– Department Summaries
o Preparing/Processing weekly Payroll
o Banking
– Record wires
– Intercompany transfers
– Enter all banking/credit card transactions into QuickBooks
o Track and pay all utilities
o Familiar retention billing
o Annual Insurance Audits
o Work with remote CPA to execute Tax and other business-related items
o Communicate with owners/managers about necessary daily/ weekly/ monthly tasks
o Experience in some form of contracting is preferred.
o Assist in the preparation of financial statements, s, and analyses as required.
