We’re currently seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer that has enterprise-level experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure (such as Lambda, EC2, S3, Amazon DocumentDB, PostgreSQL).

About the Job and Responsibilities:

This role will help the team select technologies, implement the architecture, and stand-up the various environments. The support and management of all these applications will be owned by this role from the perspective of patching, scalability, configuring, and expansion with new services as they become available. This role will also be charged with designing, building, and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform, ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
Follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done thinking Safety First.
Designing and implementing code modules in C/C++/C#.
Performing unit testing, generation of functional specifications.
Bug tracking and resolution.
Assisting in development of instrument communications protocols, interfaces, and new features, and integrating new instruments and new instrument features.
Assisting in development and integration of our flagship product, a comprehensive suite of enterprise-level data acquisition and monitoring applications used by large multi-national high-tech manufacturing companies, including many of the fortune 100.
Working with management, sales, hardware development, QA, and internal customers to define new requirements, set development and testing schedules, and support the needs of a very fast-growing and dynamic manufacturing business.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from a four-year college or university and 3 years of experience in a related field, or 8 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
