Lifestyle Solutions is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Officer for a period of 3-months with the potential to extend into a permanent role. Ensure prompt and timely processing of all LS invoices for customers, contacts and staff whilst being part of an organisation that makes a real difference in the community services sector to people with a disability & young people.

About the Job

Use your extensive skills in accounting to carry out the following responsibilities:

• Processing and data entry of accounts payable, petty cash (High Volume) through Digital Finance Portal
• Ensure all invoices processed in accordance with Delegation of Authority
• Ensure filing is up to date and accurate and facilitate records management such as archiving
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of accounts is maintained
• Reconciliations carried out to suit weekly and monthly requirements
• Ensure that advice provided internally and externally is timely and accurate
• Provide general administrative support as required

About You

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounts payable
• Understanding of, and experience with, computer-based finance systems such as, Microsoft Dynamics GP etc.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
• Demonstrated commitment to high quality outcomes including high attention to detail
• Well-developed organisational skills including the ability to determine priorities consistent with changing demands and competing priorities
• Demonstrated ability to use initiative and maintain confidentiality and reliability
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own workload
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with a good attention to detail
• Capacity to work independently with limited supervision
• Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to work well under pressure
