Our Head Office Controlling Department is looking for a proactive, analytical, management accounting professional to join our team and partner with internal stakeholders across the business locally and internationally.

The Controlling Department provides support to executive management and operational departments with relevant key performance indicators for targeted management of all business processes within the company. Please note: this is a Senior Business Partner position but your contractual job title would be “Team Manager” in line with our internal role structures.

We have a hybrid working model for Head Office roles, with only 3 days in the office per week, ensuring you have a flexible work life balance.

What you’ll do

• Manage and help develop a small team of Business Partners
• Act as a Business Partner for national departments and contact person for international departments
• Supporting executive management and operational departments
• Monitoring and analysing KPIs, thereby identifying risks, errors, problems and improvement opportunities
• Manipulating and interpreting large sets of business data using the Business Intelligence Software
• Designing advanced reports and tools used by various areas in the business that would help improving decision making and performance
• Creating country-specific reports
• Planning key indicators
• Monitoring & detailed P&L analysis
• Conducting quality assurance of systems
• Developing and analysing audited areas
• Implementing international standards
• Assisting in Financial assessments of business activities and projects relevant to Controlling

What you’ll need

• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
• German language speaking skills (advantageous)
• Solid Management Accounting and Financial Reporting and planning experience
• Demonstrable experience of managing and developing a team is a must
• Previous experience working with departments outside of Finance and managing stakeholders
• Ability to influence decisions at C-suite level
• A proven aptitude for data analysis
• Advanced Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word and Excel / VBA skills
• An organised multitasker that is able to prioritise their workload and able to meet tight deadlines whilst achieving results
• A self-motivated and proactive individual with a can-do attitude
• Able to work on projects independently with strong problem-solving ability
• An innovator rather than an administrator, who is able to deliver the final product in a quality fashion
