About The Position
Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Licensed Psychologist for a full-time role in Leavenworth, Kansas within an institutional setting. This position involves providing psychological services within a correctional facility, coordinating and directing psychological service programs, and working as part of a multidisciplinary mental health team.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Psychology REQUIRED
- Current, unrestricted license to practice psychology REQUIRED
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience REQUIRED
- At least 1 year in a comparable position REQUIRED
- Valid driver’s license REQUIRED
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological screenings and assessments
- Perform clinical interviews and evaluate patient needs
- Develop, implement, and modify treatment plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services
- Conduct rounds in segregation and confined housing areas
- Collaborate with psychiatry, nursing, and clinical staff
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies
