• Acts as a senior member of the Talent Acquisition team setting recruiting strategy and building strong and trusting relationships with senior leaders, talent partners and team members while fostering a culture of trust within the team that promotes, recognizes and rewards continuous-improvement, best practice sharing and innovative thinking.
• Responsible for defining and leading the strategy and recruiting teams across a wide portfolio of hiring needs focused on Investments, Finance, Legal, Technology, Talent, and other corporate functions by providing a continuously refreshed inventory of top tier candidates.
• Champions Liberty Mutual Insurance as an employer of choice across various markets and professional communities.
• Influences Sourcing and diversity recruiting strategies while interfacing with Executive Leadership on recruiting strategy and day to day recruiting activities.
• Leads and manages a team of recruiting and sourcing managers and emphasizes the importance of providing internal and external candidates with a differentiated, fair, consistent, well-organized experience that has a high level of communication regardless of the outcomes
• Ensures recruiting team members provide service and candidate management across the assigned portfolio of requisitions in a timely, effective, and consistent manner. Provides coaching and guidance to team members as needed.
• Guides implementation and measurement of recruiting and sourcing strategy and tactics that emphasize quality and diversity of slates, process efficiency, candidate experience and strong client management.
• Partners with internal and external organizations for the purpose of delivering Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Programming designed to attract top tier candidates
• Devise and deploy short and long-term plans to support strategic initiatives, ensuring adequate bench strength for organizational growth.
• Builds comprehensive partnership with Talent Acquisition, Talent Business Partners, Diversity Equity & Inclusion and Global Leadership & Learning teams to understand succession gaps and support pipelining activities to provide seamless and complimentary programming to executive leaders.
• Partners with Compensation to develop and communicate competitive compensation packages to desired candidates, considering labor market trends, internal equity, and skills and experiences brought to the role
• Provides competitive intelligence output on key positions, including structure, organizational models and compensation practices.
• Establishes criteria for selecting key search partner relationships to create a preferred provider list with subsequent management of search team/partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience plus at least 10+ years of progressively more responsibility required. Prior recruiting experience desired with executive-level Talent Acquisition ownership of a large or complex recruiting portfolio.
• Customer and stakeholder focused with the ability to link business with recruiting strategies.
• Influential leader with a strategic & Diversity, Equity and Inclusion mindset and demonstrated relationship building ability.
• Effective interpersonal skills needed to create and enhance partnerships with internal and external customers, including verbal and written communications.
• Ability to organize, lead and get work done through others
• Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of insurance industry and products.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret business information drawn from multiple sources to make critical decisions
