Liberty Mutual Insurance Hiring for Assistant Director, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Job at Remote Full Time

Partners with DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) Leadership to develop enterprise-wide and responsive learning approaches. Executes and communicates the overall DEI strategy and framework across the enterprise, including public speaking, consulting and facilitating group learning and dialogue. This leader will serve as a subject matter expert, a DEI learning consultant/coach and a person capable of auditing and embedding DEI concepts into learning, talent management and human resource processes. Utilizes data-driven HR and external business insights/networks and best practices to provide recommendations and solutions. Advises and collaborates across an array of functions within and outside of Liberty Mutual.

Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for developing strategy enterprise-wide roll-out of key DEI initiatives. Providing US and global managers the tools and knowledge required to adopt and disseminate DEI principles.

• Responsible for coaching and consulting outside the department where DEI interest exists, content management, long-term sustainability of programs, tool/resource development, vendor relationship management, and major content creation.

• This role will, in partnership with the Director, provide expertise in learning strategy development and program implementation to increase understanding across key areas of the Liberty D&I Learning Journey (unconscious bias, inclusion skills, cultural dexterity, business application). Examples of complexity: highly technical, substantial budget, high visibility, long rollouts, many stakeholders crossing multiple functional groups, insuring alignment to DEI framework while supporting engagement by stakeholders.

• Partners with DEI management team to develop enterprise wide, responsive learning communications for all audiences.

• This position will frequently influence and educate leadership and key stakeholders on DEI initiatives and strategy. Responsible for intellectual property management (IP agreement and crafting content to fit with Liberty) and strategy.

• Responsible for leading the creation of various media campaigns such as mini-series, and other content. Provides thought leadership and is responsible for creating program roadmaps and campaigns.

• Expected to build and maintain relationships across all levels. This position is responsible for ensuring that metric dashboards are created and overall metrics / pulse of department are provided to stakeholders and leadership.

• Partner with Talent Analytics for VOC and leverage partnership to set direction for programs, communications, and future DEI engagement. Will utilize data-driven HR and external business insights/networks to provide recommendations and solutions.

• Responsible for successful management and execution of qualitative and quantitative surveys and subsequent analysis. Periodically represents LM at external conferences.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor`s degree required. Graduate degree preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in DEI, Business, HR, OD, Consulting, Training or with demonstrated skill in learning and development, project management, embedding DEI into systems and processes, long range planning, utilizing vendors, budgeting, cost benefit analysis, DEI tools and concepts.

• Experience contributing towards the strategy and direction for global DEI programs/initiatives. Must have skills public speaking, teaching, leading dialogue, adapting messages to various audiences, with an understanding of how to operate within a large, complex organization.

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal essential. The ability to deliver authentic narratives to influence key stakeholders is integral to this leader`s success.
