Talent Business Partner: 3 day week, part time

The successful candidate will join a well-established Talent team and assume responsibility for partnering with specific business units spread across Dublin and Belfast offices. Reporting to the Talent Operations Manager the Talent Business Partner will use their commerciality and professional knowledge to add value to the Units they support and develop meaningful relationships with employees, leaders and key stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

• Actively contribute to the development and delivery of the Talent Operations Strategy, ensuring it is closely linked to the Company business plan and value-adding at a Unit level.
• Coach managers through the performance management cycle including objective setting, development planning, performance evaluations, assessing talent and building succession.
• Deliver and analyze KPIs, actively influencing and supporting managers in the identification of key areas for improvement and driving achievement of such.
• Proactively manage and support the successful resolution of ER issues as they arise.
• Contribute to and drive policy improvements either through best practice and or legislative demand.
• Provide credible advice in line with company policies and procedures in all operational HR related issues.
• Develop and maintain relevant external relationships and build key relationships within Liberty internationally and in your specialist field. Contribute to Liberty Mutual development by supporting national and international projects.
• Act as employee champion in the organisation, staying connected to our employees.
• Support employee engagement through the co-ordination and completion of the Great Place to Work survey and the delivery and communication of the resultant action plan.
• Create an environment where the Liberty IT culture is strong and where the diversity of our employees is valued.
• Ensure compliance with all UK & Ireland employment legislation, supported by robust policies and procedures.
• Take the legal, ethical and moral perspective in people management situations.
• Support and lead the delivery of special projects as required.

Required Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

To apply for this role, it is essential that you:

• Have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a busy Talent Department working at Business Partner level
• Hold a Degree in HR/Business related discipline or equivalent
• Are willing to travel between Dublin and Belfast offices (2 days per week, if required)
• Have a working knowledge of ROI and NI employment legislation
• Possess strong project management experience
• Are Commercially focused
• Can integrate business and HR
• Possess excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Have strong coaching and mentoring skills

Desired Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

• CIPD qualified
• Experience working in a similar environment (i.e. IT / Financial / Insurance services)
• Experience working with split site teams
