Main responsibilities
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop into an Application Support Engineer role. This role will report into the Chief Operations Officer as part of the Activ8 Operation Team. As part of this role you will be instrumental in supporting and implementing some of the world’s biggest HR and Payroll providers.
Activ8 will look to develop you in the following areas:
- Training in a wide array of technical environments, including SQL Server, Web Application Management, ETL, Data Warehouse Management etc.
- Application support and debugging.
- Basic SQL skills.
Day-to-day you will act as 1st line support for all customers, resolving issues, providing support to customers concerning the configuration and operation of the illumin8HR product. During these activities you will identify software problems and where appropriate, provision a workaround. You will liaise with the Development and Test team to ensure all faults are raised.

Experience and qualifications required
Above all, we are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, aptitude for problem solving and a passion for technology. For this role we also need someone who has a high level of attention to detail and real desire to want to learn something new, every day! There is so much room for personal development progression, we just need the right person to take it.
You will enter at Graduate or Trainee level, ideally with 3 A-Levels (or equivalent) from A-C or above.
