Job Title : Logistics Coordinator

Hourly Rate : $50,000

Job Summary :

LHH is working with a transportation organization to hire a permanent Logistics Coordinator for their Chester (Eddystone), PA location.

This is an entry level role. The hours are Monday through Friday 7AM to 4PM or 8AM to 5PM, and both shifts need to be doable.

This role is completely in office. The qualified candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain and logistics or a related field and preferably will have a minimum of logistics internship experience.

Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To :

• Supervise the truck loading and overseeing the terminal
• Enforce standard operating procedures when handling each customer’s cargo
• Compare physical inventory with terminal inventory
• Reply to all incoming emails
• Inspect items for damage and create incident s for damaged materials
• Detail inventory overages, shortages, and damages to the supervisor

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain & Logistics or a related field
• A minimum of logistics internship experience strongly preferred
• Must possess a valid drivers license in order to obtain TWIC card
• Strong problem solving abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; able to learn new systems and processes easily
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
