is seeking an experienced Logistics Support Engineer to join our team in providing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities on the portfolio of system withing the Combat Mission Systems Support (CMSS) contract.

Logistics support is for both the sustainment of fielded systems and the development of new system architecture. Essential Functions : The Logistics Specialist duties include but are not limited to Exercise logistics support utilizing accepted industry practices and processes.

Provide analysis using logistics tools and metrics. Develop Logistics Management Information (LMI) and Logistics Product Data (LPD) utilizing integrated logistics support software systems.

Develop Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) for new systems. Conduct Sparing / Provisioning Analysis. Assist with management of repair cycle process for on-equipment, off-equipment, and associated spares for fielded systems;

Receive, track, document, status and store parts in all phases of the repair cycle. Analyzes technical data, failure analysis s, and original equipment manufacturing notices to determine / formulate recommendations regarding system sparing, repair cycle venues, failure corrective actions, and sustainable replacement items.

Provides supply support through material research, ordering, warranty tracking, packaging, handling, storing, and transporting.

Assist with help desk services by providing telephone support for vital equipment and problem resolution / troubleshooting to provide fault isolation and recommended corrective actions.

Assist with equipment maintenance during system downtime periods. Qualifications : Active TOP SECRET security clearance, ability to obtain a further security clearance (TS / SCI).

Must be able to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC). Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.

Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills : Operations, Maintenance, or Logistics experience with SATCOM systems. Experience / familiarity with CMSS Contract mission area (as an operator / maintainer or as a contractor).

Experience developing and presenting logistics product technical documentation. Outstanding communication (written and verbal) skills and be capable of developing and presenting s and presentations to the project teams, weapon system management and customer personnel in a clear, articulate, and concise manner.

Experience with Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Sources (DMSMS). Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to include Excel, Power Point, and Word.

Working knowledge in acquisition life cycle processes, product development, and Life Cycle Cost modeling. Understand drawing and specification hierarchy and development;

Familiar with ASME-Y14.100 and all equivalent guidance pertaining to engineering drawings. Working knowledge of technical order development, content, and change activities.

Working knowledge of Reliability, Availability, & Maintainability (RAM) modeling. Familiar with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) policies and procedures.

Working knowledge of maintenance contracts management and procedures for warranty repairs. Familiar with electronics equipment maintenance practices and procedures.
