To provide a commercially focussed, generalist HR support to the UK and APAC regions consistent with the company values, namely resource planning and execution, performance management, learning and development, employee relations, organisational development and change.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Partners to ensure 360-degree sourcing service to hiring manager
Provide relevant information to Compensation Teams to gather benchmarking information
Provide and maintain accurate reporting of resourcing activity.
Promotes talent transfers and proactively supports inter-company transfers within LGC Group.
Performance Management
Implements the company performance management process and provides training and coaching to line managers in appraisal and objective setting.
Support HR Business Partner in the annual PPDR process, ensuring that reviews are conducted and documented in line with the company’s performance review system.
Provides front line advice and support on handling and resolving capability matters in line with company policy &, procedure and current legislation
Support the HR Lead in planning and conducting talent reviews and career management activities for teams.
Support the HR Lead in reviewing and assessing performance and productivity across teams and work groups.
Learning & Development
In conjunction with HR Leads, line managers and Learning & Development colleagues, support training needs analysis for employees and make recommendations for appropriate training interventions.
Support the HR Lead in managing people related matters.
Supports training programmes as required.
Support HR Lead in succession plans and ensure managers are actively working on team development where appropriate
Provide support with the company’s induction process and program locally to ensure new employees are inducted into the company’s vision, values, culture, history, policies and best practices.
Employee Relations
Implements employee satisfaction feedback survey and supports HR Lead with follow-through actions
Contributes to the development of reward and recognition schemes.
Provides advice and support resolving employee relations matters in line with company policies, procedures and current legislation.
Ensures that the company’s grievances, capability and disciplinary procedures are in place and understood.
Monitors and managers absence and occupational health issues.
Administration
Manage correspondence with external agencies and requests
Ensuring timely completion of reports and documentation
Manage the local HR Mailbox and act as primary liaison between employees and Centres of Excellences (CoEs)
Ensure all data held within management forms are correct and accurate
Front line HR Approval for Recognition awards, Offers, New Starters and Change forms
Ensure all data within the HRIS is accurate and up to date
Support HR Lead on bonus calculations and remuneration processing
Ensure off-boarding of employees are process in a timely manner
Maintain all employee files including confidential information
Qualifications
Preferred Knowledge, Experience and Technical Skills
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent work experience
Three or more years of Human Resources experience preferred
CIPD Level 3 or other appropriate qualification/certification preferred
Advanced computer skills, including data processing and HRIS
