Work closely with the HR Business Partner to establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders and assist with the development and delivery of a high-quality, proactive and solutions-focused HR advisory service to the Drug Development Solutions team.
Lead on recruitment for one half the business, working with the Talent Acquisition Partner who directly sources talent. Managing all aspects of recruitment on the ATS for a number of roles, including scientists, technicians, corporate functions and facilities, this role ensures candidate experience is excellent and hiring managers are supported through the process, scheduling and attending interviews, assisting with mobility and immigration queries, as well as onboarding new hires.
Support the HR team with preparation and analysis of monthly reporting for Group and Team Leader where necessary.
Monitor compliance and ensure escalation of any potential risks to the attention of the HR Director and assist with developing and implementing solutions where appropriate.
Work closely with the HR Business Partner to identify high performers and underperformers and support the design of appropriate development/improvement plans for key individual at each end of the scale.
Work in collaboration with team leaders to identify training needs and work with the HR Business Partner to design and deliver effective solutions.
Provide a first contact point for employees and line managers on routine employee relations matters such as performance and capability, welfare issues, sickness absence (including ergonomist and occupational health referrals), probation reviews and flexible working applications.
Supports the HR Business Partner with the full employee life cycle.

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field desirable, but not essential
CIPD level 5 desirable but not essential
A minimum of 4 years’ experience in an HR role within a fast-paced matrix organisation
