LexisNexis Hiring for C# Software Engineer Job at Farringdon, England Full Time

LexisNexis UK are looking for a C# Software Engineer with full stack .NET experience to join a team that is responsible for building our Legal Library product solutions.

You will be a pivotal member of the Software Engineering team, promoting and supporting an Agile and value-driven culture which delivers high-quality software at speed. We adopt cutting-edge technologies and techniques to produce exceptional results – which right now means a containerised, microservices-based architecture (via Docker and Kubernetes), and test-driven development, trunk-based development, and pair programming to promote elite software delivery performance.

You will join a welcoming, sociable, and increasingly diverse team of talented people who enjoy regular team building events and dedicated time for learning (20% of your time is study time).

Experience required:

• 2+ years experience working with C# ( .NET)
• Experience building RESTful APIs (especially ASP.NET Web APIs)
• Experience building good-looking and responsive web front-ends, working with HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript.
• Ideally with experience using Test-Driven Development (TDD

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Having a good understanding at a general level of the technical stack and how aspects of the solution work together to realize overall objective.
• Proactively using test and deployment automation to assure quality of delivered software
• Engaging with product managers and wider stakeholders to ensure we continue to develop features of value for customers and business
• Driving and advocating continuous professional development throughout the team
• Drive to achieve a high level of competency and ability across a varied technical toolset, in accordance with the systems in use.
• Working with complex data models
• Completing complex bug fixes
