Lendlease Hiring for Senior Finance Analyst Job at Sydney Full Time

We are currently seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join our high-performing Financial Control team on a fixed-term contract until the end of June 2023. This role is based in Barangaroo, Sydney.

You will work collaboratively with the broader Building Finance team including the General Manager Finance, Building (FC), Finance Business Partners and Projects team, to deliver insights and drive robust financial control activities to support the achievement of strategic, financial and operational objectives of the Building and Retained Engineering & Services businesses.

As the Senior Finance Analyst, your accountabilities will include but not be limited to:

• Supporting the provision of robust financial control, solid technical accounting guidance and accurate and commercially insightful reporting in a timely fashion to support informed management decision making

• Supporting the delivery of management and statutory reporting requirements in line with reporting timelines and in collaboration with key finance and non-finance stakeholders, to help inform and drive business performance and strategy

• Ownership of the consolidation of key reporting processes, providing insights and investigating material exceptions to forecast

• Assisting in the coordination of the half-year and full-year audit process, working with project teams to collate requests and review content for consistency and accuracy

• Ownership and maintenance of origination and conversion resources utilised by the broader Building Finance team supporting tender activity

• Involvement in periodic compliance activities (including insurances and tax)

• Leading and supporting the successful embedment of finance-driven improvement initiatives across Building, including providing relevant subject matter expertise

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of both the internal and external business drivers and to identify ways we can enhance our technical and commercial partnering with the business

You will bring relevant tertiary qualifications and technical post tertiary qualifications which include CA or CPA qualifications with strong experience in financial reporting, financial planning & analytics, or a related field. Your high-level commercial acumen skills will be supported by your ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment working both autonomously and as part of a team.

In addition, you will possess first class decision making, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, and possess the ability to adjust rapidly and frequently to new situations and assist others in adapting to change. Property or construction experience will be advantageous.
