The API Development team are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join the Queensland team on a 6 month-fixed-term contract, full-time or option to work 4 days a week or a 9-day fortnight.

This role is responsible for delivering financial management and processes across Development Projects. Specifically, the Senior Finance Analyst works closely with the Project Finance Manager and other members of the API Development Team to ensure that financial outcomes of Lendlease developments are reported accurately and in a timely manner.

Reporting through to the Senior Finance Manager (API Qld), your key tasks in this role will include:

• Month end management duties (pre and post month end close) including checking ledgers and calculating and posting monthly journals for COGS and accruals.

• Rolling and updating the Project Commercial Assessment (CA) with actuals each month as well as assisting with updating forecasts.

• Assisting with cashflow forecasting.

• Updating TM1 with latest cost budgets and financial forecasts as required.

• Liaising with Finance Services on any reconciliation issues and fixes.

• Developing and implementing process improvement ideas

• Liaising with External Conveyancer on any settlement issues.

You will bring at least 5 years of project accounting experience along with relevant tertiary qualifications and recently qualified or working towards your CA or CPA qualification. You must be able to demonstrate strong excel and software system skills. Your excellent communication skills will be supported by your ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment working both autonomously and as part of a team. A property background will be advantageous.
