Content Manager / Copywriter, Lifecycle Marketing
Lendio is seeking a Content Manager who is also a hands-on copywriter to lead copywriting for our lifecycle marketing programs. This role is responsible for writing content to support email and SMS across various touch points throughout the customer journey, for both B2B and small-to-medium-sized business owner audiences.
Housed within the communications team, you’ll work very closely with our senior director of lifecycle marketing and ultimately be responsible for managing content throughout the entire production process, from strategic planning and development/writing to delivery. Meticulous communication and organizational skills will be crucial to your success. The ideal candidate is an expert copywriter with the ability to flex between short- and long-form content. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining a high standard of excellence across lifecycle content, as well as other content marketing and copy.
This position s to the Director, Content & Brand Marketing, with a dotted line to the Senior Director, Lifecycle Marketing.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary lifecycle/email copywriter for the marketing team, supporting various products and services
Jointly manage email campaigns and content calendars with your lifecycle marketing counterparts, including analysis of asset performance to improve results and future efforts
Effectively track and expedite projects by maintaining close communication with team members, content partners, and freelance writers
Write content marketing assets as needed
Collaborate, share ideas, and apply feedback when necessary
Requirements & Qualifications :
3-5 years of copywriting experience
Expertise in best practices for and optimization in email copy development
Experience in using AI tools and algorithms to drive efficient content production
Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage many competing deadlines and concurrent projects
Familiarity with small business or finance is a plus
