Your New Role

You will join our busy Careers Team and collaborate closely with our senior stakeholders on end to end recruitment across Defence and Federal Government portfolios. This is a fast growing business and a project driven environment, so you will be assisting the recruitment team across Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane.

This is a varied role so in addition to operational recruitment, you will support the team by ensuring the best employee experience possible across pre-employment to the 1st 6 months of the employee life cycle.

Other key accountabilities include:

• Ensure candidates receive regular, timely communication and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is updated in real time
• Coordinate background and security checks
• Monitoring and updating posting to job boards & social media
• Ensuring a smooth handover of new hires into the onboarding process
• Process vendor invoices
• Other administrative duties to assist the team.

You will also have the opportunity to support/run exciting projects and work with the broader HR team in delivering these – The projects align with our growth strategy, some these areas include Employee Experience, Diversity & Inclusion and Mental Health programs.

Please Note: This role is Canberra based with flexible working arrangements available.

You will ideally have experience in end to end recruitment, however we’re looking for someone that is organised, proactive and fits in well with the team.
