The Leidos Civil IT DOT team is hiring for a Customer Service Operator that handles all incoming calls from the public to the Department of Transportation. The candidate for this role will handle a very large number of incoming calls and is expected to transfer them to the correct destination. It is important that the candidate for this role can move quickly between calls as they can easily exceed 150 per operator in each shift.

This position will be located in Washington, DC.

Shifts are M-F 8:30am-5:30pm EST. *Each operator must rotate weekly, on site.

WHAT SETS YOU APART:

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of prior relevant experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides support to a call center by answering and routing calls within a large agency.

• Create and manage conference calls and telephone numbers.

• Responsible for providing customer service support in a business organization.

• Research questions using available information resources.

• Inform customers of appropriate actions to take if they cannot be transferred.

• Follow standard operating procedures provided.

• Great attendance and punctuality are a must.

• Other duties as assigned.

CLEARANCE REQUIRED:

• Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder who has resided in the U.S. for at least 3 years and the ability to obtain a public trust clearance

Pay Range:

Pay Range $31,200.00 – $48,000.00 – $64,800.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
